The Bently Nevada 3500 series is a rack-based continuous monitoring system designed to protect turbines, compressors, pumps, motors and generators in the most demanding process industries. Each 3500 rack accepts a mix of monitor modules that measure radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, speed and casing vibration from a single, integrated platform.

Every channel provides configurable Alert and Danger setpoints with time delays, voting logic and dedicated relay outputs so the system can annunciate developing faults and trip the machine before damage occurs. The 3500 meets the requirements of API 670 for machinery protection systems and is widely accepted by end users, EPCs and OEMs worldwide.

The system integrates with plant control and safety systems through Modbus, OPC and communication gateway modules, and feeds waveform and static data to System 1 software for diagnostics and condition monitoring. Redundant power supplies and hot-swappable modules keep the machine protected during maintenance.
