Pressure Sensors

Dynamic pressure sensors for detecting pulsation, cavitation, surge and combustion instability in pumps, compressors and turbines.

Dynamic pressure measurement complements vibration monitoring by revealing fluid-borne phenomena that vibration alone may not fully explain. Bently Nevada dynamic pressure sensors capture rapid pressure fluctuations associated with pump cavitation, compressor surge and rotating stall, and combustion dynamics in gas turbines.

The sensors provide a wide dynamic range and high-frequency response, with hermetic construction and high-temperature options for installation close to the process. Signals are conditioned for direct connection to Bently Nevada monitors and data acquisition systems.

Integrating dynamic pressure channels into the monitoring system enables earlier detection of damaging operating conditions and supports root-cause analysis of hydraulic and aerodynamic instabilities.
