Decision Support extends System 1 with a library of diagnostic rules and asset models developed from Bently Nevada’s decades of machinery experience. It continuously evaluates measurement data against known fault signatures for imbalance, misalignment, rub, looseness, bearing wear, resonance and more.
When a rule fires, the software presents a plain-language assessment of the probable fault, its severity and the supporting evidence, along with recommended actions. This lets a small team of analysts effectively cover hundreds or thousands of machines.
Rules and models are configurable, so plant-specific knowledge can be captured and reused, turning individual expertise into a sustained organizational capability.
