4-20 mA Transducers
Loop-powered vibration transmitters that deliver a 4-20 mA signal proportional to machine vibration for connection to PLC, DCS and control systems.
When continuous protection-grade monitoring is not required, a 4-20 mA vibration transmitter provides a simple and economical way to bring machinery vibration into an existing control system. These loop-powered devices convert the output of an accelerometer or velocity sensor into a proportional current signal representing overall vibration.
The transmitters are available in top-mount and side-exit configurations, with selectable measurement units, full-scale ranges and filter settings. Hazardous-area versions allow installation directly on machines in classified areas.
By trending the 4-20 mA signal in the PLC or DCS, operators gain early warning of deteriorating machine condition without adding a separate monitoring system.
