Bently Nevada seismic transducers measure absolute vibration of machine casings, bearing housings and structures where non-contact shaft measurements are not sufficient or not possible. The range covers general-purpose and high-temperature accelerometers as well as Velomitor piezo-velocity sensors.
Accelerometers provide a wide frequency response ideal for detecting rolling-element bearing defects, gear mesh problems and blade-pass phenomena. Velomitor sensors output velocity directly, simplifying integration with monitors and aligning with traditional velocity-based alarm criteria.
All sensors are available with hazardous-area approvals, a choice of connector and cable options, and matched mounting hardware for reliable installation in demanding environments.
